What Is LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver?

LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver is a specialized engine oil additive formulated to maintain and regenerate rubber and plastic seals in the engine oil circuit. LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver helps reduce oil consumption and minimize oil loss caused by aged, hardened or porous engine seals.

Over time, engine seals such as valve stem seals and shaft sealing rings can become dry, brittle or less flexible due to heat and ageing. This may contribute to oil leaks, oil consumption and blue exhaust smoke. Motor Oil Saver helps restore the flexibility of these seals and supports better sealing performance.

Suitable Applications

LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver is suitable for petrol and diesel engines using commercially available motor oils. It can be used in naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines and is tested for compatibility with catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPF).

It is suitable for selected applications where oil consumption or leakage is related to ageing or hardened rubber and plastic engine seals. It is not a mechanical repair for damaged engine components or excessive wear.

How to Use

1. Add one 300ml can of LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver to the engine oil.
2. One can is sufficient for up to 5 litres of engine oil.
3. The additive can be added at any time.
4. After adding, run the engine until it reaches operating temperature.
5. The sealing effect generally begins after approximately 600–800 km of driving.

For a lasting preventive effect, LIQUI MOLY recommends repeating the application approximately every 30,000 km.

Important Usage Information

Do not exceed the recommended dosage. This product is not suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches. If an engine has severe oil leakage, damaged seals or mechanical wear, proper inspection and repair may still be required.
