LIQUI MOLY Oil Sludge Flush is a specialized engine cleaning additive designed to remove black sludge, combustion residues and other deposits from the engine and crankcase. LIQUI MOLY Oil Sludge Flush uses a combination of oil-soluble detergents and thermally stable dispersants to help clean the engine’s internal lubrication system before an oil change.

Engine sludge can develop over time due to oxidation, partially burned fuel residues, heat and other contaminants. These deposits may collect in oil passages, oil screens, piston ring grooves and engine ducts, potentially restricting oil flow and contributing to lubrication problems.

How Does Oil Sludge Flush Work?

LIQUI MOLY Oil Sludge Flush contains oil-soluble detergents and dispersants that help loosen and suspend sludge and other contaminants in the engine oil. During the recommended driving period, these cleaning components circulate with the oil and help clean internal engine areas.

The contaminated oil and suspended deposits are then removed during the oil and oil-filter change. This process helps maintain cleaner oil passages and supports reliable engine lubrication.

Compatibility

Suitable for all commercially available motor oils in petrol and diesel engines, with or without diesel particulate filters (DPF). Tested for use with turbochargers and catalytic converters. It can also be used in vehicles equipped with timing belts running in oil.

Not suitable for motorcycles with wet clutches.

How to Use LIQUI MOLY Oil Sludge Flush

1. Add one 300ml can to the engine oil approximately 200 km before the scheduled oil change.
2. One can is sufficient for engines containing up to 5 litres of engine oil.
3. Drive normally for approximately 200 km after adding the product.
4. Avoid full-throttle operation during the cleaning period.
5. After the recommended driving period, drain the used engine oil.
6. Replace the engine oil filter and refill with the correct fresh engine oil.

For extremely contaminated engines, LIQUI MOLY advises that the cleaning process may be repeated. The oil screen in the sump should be cleaned if necessary.

• This product is added to engine oil, not to the fuel tank.
